About the Cafe We are located just a short hop off of Rt.
89 exits 8 or 9, the center hub of Warner NH.
Our cute cape-house cafe sits in-between the town-hall, elementary school, and local credit union.
Cafe One East was established in 2021 in the space where Schoodacs, a previous cafe was located.
We bring espresso, tea, breakfast, and scratch-made pastries to the town an aspire to become the go-to community hub.
We frequently involve ourselves in local events such as Maple Weekend, Fall Foliage Festival, the Kearsage Klassic Bike Race, Halloween Pumpkin Carving, and other events throughout the year.
About the Position We currently have a team of 5 hard-working team members with two owners regularly on-site and we are looking to expand the staff by 1-2 part-time team members as we head into our busy season.
The team members interact with customers, take customer orders, make the espresso, tea, coffee, smoothies, or other cafe drinks, make customer food orders, and help us take care of our lovely little cafe.
Pay is based on experience, effort, and attitude and we don't wait years to recognize the effort someone brings to the job.
Physical Requirements Must be able to stand for long periods of time Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs Must be able to handle sharp utensils appropriately Required Experience No experience necessary if you are the right candidate and are willing to learn and can work independently in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment; however, the following types of experience is highly sought after.
Prior Barista Experience Prior Food Service Experience Expected Pay is $11.
50 - $15.
50 base hourly.
Our Barista's also make cash and card tips and recently have been making between $6 and $11an hour in card tips.
The business doesn't log or count cash tips.
