Come join the amazing Community Action Program of Belknap-Merrimack team! We are a private non-profit committed to doing all we can in the fight against poverty.
Our legacy goes back to the 1960's and we manage over 70 programs designed to help those who need it most.
This position helps new Community Action clients learn about our programs, navigate the application process, and get connected to resources that can help.
Some of our 2022 accomplishments include providing 93,000 rides, delivering over 3 million pounds of food, providing rental assistance to nearly 4,000 households and serving over 26,000 total individuals.
This position is critical in helping those we serve get connected and participating in programs.
You'll join a team of talented and passionate people who are motivated to make our community as strong and resilient as possible.

Client intake and outreach for Community Action programs.
Verify and document information as required and ensure confidentiality Familiarize clients with Community Action programs Acquires information about other agencies, programs, and services in the area in order to make referrals Assist with general office functions including filing and cleaning Requirements:
Two years prior experience in human/social services position High school education or equivalent Reliable source of transportation to be used in fulfilling the responsibilities of the position, and meet insurance requirements.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
